Police have arrested a an alleged parole violator who was the subject of a wanted bulletin in mid-December that described him as “armed and dangerous.”

Douglas Kawika Louis, 38, of Pahala, was apprehended without incident at 7 a.m. Tuesday at Punaluu Beach Park in Kaʻu.

He was charged with parole revocation, then taken to the Hawaii Community Correctional Center, where he awaits a hearing to be set by the Hawaii Paroling Authority.
